New MPC X By Akai Pro At Musikmesse 2017

Akai Pro MPC X demonstrated at Musikmesse 2017 is another new unit to fit the cult MPC line which was started by the leading manufacturer Akai Professional leaving each and every producer and electronic musician happy with its products. Akai Pro MPC X was devised with regard to the classic MPC operating layout but the developers also paid attention to the flaws and did their best.

AKAI Pro MPC XThe new synth by AKAI Pro is a standalone workstation with a full color 10.1” multi touch display and 16 velocity sensitive RGB pads. MPC X is equipped with a multicore soft-embracing processor. MPC X operates on MPC Software 2.0. The soft is compatible with your Mac or PC as a plugin via any editor but can be used as an independent app as well.

As for the control panel – there are nice menu buttons, big master knob, 16 touch sensitive pads, 16 Q-Link knobs and an OLED display allowing individual setting.

MPC X is a quick helper in any studio featuring smooth interaction with your working tools. The new device has a sufficient MIDI support (2 ins and 4 outs) – it’s easy to integrate it with controllers and MIDI compatible modules, drum machines and synthesizers. It sports many inputs and outputs (XLR, 1/4” jack, mini-jack and RCA), high quality audio capture, direct / hardware monitoring options and switchable phantom-power.

MPC X is going to be available soon. You’ll have to pay about €1800/ USD2200 for the new Akai instrument.
