Frédéric Brun, co-founder and president of Arturia, the Grenoble-based manufacturer of software and hardware synthesizers, MIDI controllers, and audio interfaces.

Born in 1972, Brun studied physical chemistry and law before co-founding Arturia in 1999 with Gilles Pommereuil. As president, he guided the company from software emulations to becoming a full hardware manufacturer, navigating the complex transition from code to factory production in Grenoble's engineering ecosystem.

Under Brun's leadership, Arturia expanded globally with products like the AstroLab keyboard integrating nearly all of the company's software emulations, the Pigments software synthesizer, and partnerships spanning from budget MicroFreak to professional controller lines.
