Mike Adams is associated with Moog Music and Modal Electronics in leadership and engineering roles spanning the modern resurgence of analog synthesizer manufacturing.
Adams served as CEO and President of Moog Music for many years, guiding the company through the Minimoog Voyager era, the Sub Phatty and Subsequent line, and Moog's acquisition by inMusic Brands. He worked closely with engineers including Cyril Lance and Amos Gaynes to maintain Moog's manufacturing in Asheville.
At Modal Electronics, Adams contributed to the Modal 008 analog polysynth and the Argon8 wavetable synthesizer series, extending the company's product line beyond the original Modal 001 designed by Philip Taysom and others.
