CS-15 is a synthesizer featuring monophonic and duophonic modes. The sound generation is based on 2 VCOs, one LFO with triangle, saw waveforms including sample&hold. Filter section is represented with two multimode 2-pole filters comprising low pass, high pass and band pass options. There’s no effects section.

The 37-note keyboard synth offers no patch memory. The unit comprises a noise generator. External gear can be routed in and processed by the instrument.

The structure is quite simple but the sound is unique. The unit looks solid and imposing. Amusing filters deliver unheard nuances. Via CV connection the synthesizer can get an extra voice and turned into a duophonic synth. Both VCOs are CV/Gate controllable.

The amusing filters provide you with many routings. Filters can be routed to envelopes which are quite as fast as in CS-10, oscillator 1 can be routed to any of the VCF.

Create some basses, thin and sparkling sounds with the unit. VCFs offer individual brilliance control. The analog voice of CS-15 is a worthy sound for the price.

The instrument was used by Astral Projection, Somatic Responses, Moog Cookbook, The Human League, and Vince Clarke.
