Polivoks is a fully analog synthesizer with unique circuitry and components which contribute a lot to the unique sound of this instrument.
Synthesizer Polivoks is honestly a two-voice instrument - each of the two voltage controlled oscillators (VCO) is assigned when the key is pressed. The filter (VCF) doesn’t have a single capacitor in its circuit considering there’s only two operational amplifiers. The ADSR envelope generators have an autogeneration function with a period of oscillation equal to the sum of A and D. This turns the oscillators into two additional oscillation sources of different shapes and of a different period for modulating the cutoff frequency and the amplitude of the amplifier (VCA).

The keyboard is made on hercons (sealed magnetically controlled contacts), therefore it is very reliable and durable.

The synthesizer's design is truly modular - all the structure units represent separate printed circuit boards, and they can be independently upgraded or replaced.

Polyvoks synthesizer has an unusual looks. Its appearance reminds of something Soviet-like solid and lasting. The elements of the graphics are made on small, bulky plastic panels.

During all the serial production, the electronics and synthesizer design have been improved, so the first and the latest circuits are quite different. The date of production of the synthesizer can be found on the rear panel - it consists of a two-digit number of the month of issue, a two-digit number of the year of issue and a three-digit number of the synthesizer. The latest Polyvokses feature a more perfect exploitation process and more elaborate operating of the elements.

  Analog Duophonic Synthesizer   3 000.00 U.S.Dollars

Keeping track of the success of his first synthesizer and willing to create a new product, Tom Oberheim simply combined two SEM modules with a keyboard and a basic sequencer putting them into one housing. This made it possible to get a duophonic...

  Monophonic Analog Synthesizer   2 500.00 U.S.Dollars

After the release of Minimoog it became clear that the synthesizer is not a huge cabinet you should drag to rehearsals but rather a small and elegant device. And ARP (and at that time the synthesizer market was reined over only by Moog and ARP) had to...
