street price2 Voice Pro is the favorite creature of Tom Oberheim. It almost completely replicates the set of functions introduced in the model released in 1975. "Almost" means that the synthesizer received some additional functions to the set of the original ones.
Two Voice Pro is based on two modern SEM modules, a sequencer and 36-note keyboard.
Each SEM represents two VCOs producing sawtooth and pulse waveforms, multi-mode VCF, two ADS envelope generators, a VCA and a modulatable LFO. Besides, more than 50 mini jack patch points were offered plus to the pre-configured routing of the modules.
The mini-sequencer features MIDI synchronization and numbers 16 steps, the value of which is set by the variable resistors. The programmed sequences can be edited and stored in the built-in memory (99 memory locations). It is possible to play two sequences simultaneously.
Also, an independent low-frequency oscillator for vibrato modulation is included in the synthesizer structure.
In 2016 TVS Pro version was released sporting new looks - the black housing, wooden sides of the same color as before. Technically, everything remained unchanged.
