Ketron MS60, like many other synthesizers, has a 64-note polyphony and 61 weighted keys with aftertouch. On the left part of the keyboard there are pitch/mod wheels. At the top of the instrument you can find quite an extensive control set, including a backlit screen. On the screen you can observe the basic information that will be useful for the workflow.
MS60 includes 256 orchestral voices, a large number of patches, both custom and factory (256 factory and 128 user ones), 12 drum kits and 192 percussion. MS60 is able to play MIDI files displaying lyrics, open song sequences and working with text files.
Moreover, the synthesizer has 128 programmable user voices with envelope control, LFO, wheels, aftertouch and effects. The MS60 also has 198 kinds of auto accompaniment and 198 custom styles with programmable parameter settings.
The synthesizer boasts a variety of effects, ranging from reverb/delay and ending with a distortion/wah-wah. The sampler allows you to store up to 8 MB of 16 bit/44.100 kHz data. The rear panel of X1 features inputs for stereo headphones, 2 line inputs, a microphone input, MIDI input/output/thru, 2 outputs, and connectors for sustain and volume pedals.
