If one day one could find Roland TR-606 on the shelves he would be delighted. This modest companion to the more famous silver plastic TB-303 device is now approached with true love, and to find this drum machine at a decent price will take a lot of time. Fortunately, Acidlab engineers are interested in reincarnation of Roland's classic drum machines/bass synthesizers, and they created Acidlab Drumatix. Acidlab did not just recreate Roland TR-606 - it made it better.

Drumatix is an implicit TR-606 clone. When the original machine has 6 knobs (5 voices and accent), Drumatix has a total of 21 knobs, which means a more diverse set of drums and more control. The most noteworthy is that it includes 2 bass drums and snares, clap and rimshot, which stand between TR-606 and TR-808.

The drum machine has 2 modes of operation: pattern and track. Patterns comprise up to 16 steps, each of which can be triggered by any of the 9 drum or accent voices. In total, it contains 192 patterns (located in 12 banks out of 16).

For connection of additional control elements, there are 6 individual outputs for further use of adjustment of each analog voice. Any physical connection takes place automatically when you subtract voices from the main mix. Each output is a full-sized mono connector, and some of them have 2 voices each.
