The four-channel controller NS7III made by Numark company was released in 2015. A small "flashback": NS7 was the first digital controller of the series to have 2 decks, a mixer, motorized platters made in the Technics style, and a minimal set of functions. NS7II got updates in the form of pads AKAI Pro, 4 decks and a number of digital developments. And finally, NS7III took the best from its predecessors, and included built-in screens.
The device is almost identical to NS7II, except for the obvious addition of screens. The tracks are loaded by using the large library scroll knob, where around it there are standard buttons for uploading and folder opening. The library can be sorted by name, artists, BPM, tonalities and albums.
When loading tracks onto decks (here there are 4 decks/channels, with a large switch for 1/3 and 2/4), the waveforms will appear on the 2 side displays, and most importantly - on the central one. On the screens you can see information about the playing time, track names, BPM, and the intensity of the effects processing.
As for the rest of NS7III interface, it has almost everything the same as its predecessor NS7II. At the bottom of the controller there are pads in the style of Akai Pro, which are the most complete in terms of their implementation. This includes all the important functions: "Auto Roll" and "Slicer" (sampling), "Pad FX". The pads, like the buttons, have the proper colors so they are pretty intuitive in use.
The mixer section has standard filters, 3-band equalizers, and signal level meters for each channel. NS7III has completely unique platters among all DJ controllers. They’re sized at 7", but in addition, they feel super naturally, as when playing Technics. Besides, for the stunning performance, the reverse settings and "sliding mode" were provided.
