The digital piano of ES5 model is the ideal instrument for those musicians who want to purchase an excellent sounding instrument for home and, at the same time, portable for stage performances. ES5 has, like its predecessor ES3, 64 polyphony voices, as well as a number of new and improved sounds, a USB port and 100 rhythmic styles. The keyboard of the instrument is characterized by 88-weighted keys with Advanced Hammer Action III technology. It helps the ES-5 to better simulate Kawai acoustic piano: the bass notes of the keyboard will be slightly heavier when pressed than the high ones. The unique design of ES-5 hammer action keyboard provides an excellent touch response, as well as an incredibly smooth and at the same time non-slip surface.
